The inaugural festival in 2017 was a HUGE success! We’re busy planning for 2018. Below, you can take a glimpse of the activities at the 2017 festival held on June 25.
There was lots to do at the festival, including our demonstrations at the Amphitheater, fun for the kids in the Kidz Zone and music at the Great Basin Brewing Company stage.

10 a.m. Yoga with Juice Box Yoga (at Cantina Garden across from the Amphitheater)
11 a.m. – Skin Care with Lavender, Dr. Cindy Jones
12 p.m. – Cooking with Lavender, Chef Sparky Walsh 39 North Downtown
1 p.m. – Growing Lavender in Nevada
2 p.m. – Skin Care with Lavender, Dr. Cindy Jones
3 p.m. – Protecting our Pollinators
Dr. Cindy Jones of Colorado Aromatics and Sagescript Institute is a biochemist and herb farmer with extensive experience in physiology, toxicology, microbiology and cosmetic science. She and her husband have a farm in Longmont, Colorado. In addition to lavender, they grow herbs, vegetables, chickens and goats. Cindy’s passion for science and her love of herbs is the catalyst behind Colorado Aromatics skin care line. In the summer, you’ll find her hiking, gardening and at farmers markets selling her lavender and skin care products.
