The inaugural festival held on June 25 was a HUGE success, and we’re busy planning for 2018. Below is the music for the 2017 event.

2017 Great Basin Brewing Company Stage

11:30 a.m.  Britt Straw
Britt Straw was born and raised in Reno NV. She jams on the ukulele and sings her heart out. She loves to sing sweet melodies & her music will make you feel like you’re sipping a tropical drink on a white sandy beach. She started playing the uke in 2013 and since then has composed many songs as well as put her own twist onto a variety of covers. Not only does she focus on her solo act, but she loves to collaborate with various artists.

1 p.m.  Jessica Malone
Jessica Malone was raised in the tall mountains of far northern California and is known for her powerful yet soothing voice and unique songwriting style. On her debut full-length album “Miles Left to Walk”, guitar, ukulele, violin, upright bass, trumpet, Hammond organ, and drums all accompany Jessica’s soulful vocals to create a one of a kind sound that blends raw rootsy Americana with elements of folk, jazz, rock & pop. The album evokes a sense of wanderlust, self-discovery, positivity, and moving forward. Her raw unfiltered approach to songwriting creates music that will take you back in time, while her heartfelt lyrics keep you rooted in the present.

3:30 p.m.  Caitlin Jemma
Caitlin Jemma is a small-town girl with a big country heart. Raised in the high desert of Northern Nevada, her songwriting is influenced by a sense of adventure, reverie, and discovery. With a sound tempered by country and delivered with soul, Caitlin Jemma brings a wholesome and enlivened energy to the deep-rooted traditions of storytelling folk. Jemma’s sweet and salty twang has earned comparisons to a young Iris Dement, with echoes of Gillian Welch & Valerie June.
