The festival takes place at scenic and shady Idlewild Park in Reno, Nevada. Idlewild Park is a large, 49-acre community park close to downtown Reno on the Truckee River. It includes a rose garden, duck ponds, two children’s parks, a pool and a skate park.

For the locals, we encourage you to ride your bicycle and park at the Bike Valet, hosted by the Downtown Sparks Kiwanis. If you’re driving, RTC will provide free bus service on Route 16 Special between the Courthouse Parking Lot in downtown Reno and Idlewild Park during the event. You can also find extra parking at Reno High School.
If you’re on foot, look for a Pineapple Pedicab bicycle “taxi” along the festival route. They provide complimentary rides from the festival to your car. Tips are always appreciated.

For out-of-town visitors, endless fun awaits the whole family in Reno Tahoe. From adventure zones to family-friendly activities, memorable experiences are waiting. Redefine thrills for every member in the group at VisitRenoTahoe.com.

And if you’re looking for a place to stay, we recommend our sponsor hotels Eldorado Hotel Casino and Silver Legacy Resort Casino. Both are located downtown in the heart of excitement and a short distance from the festival.
